Construction
Construction season is short on the prairies, so the City of Saskatoon strives to get as much done as possible during the spring and summer months.
This is your hub for the most up-to-date information about significant and impactful construction projects in the city. You will also find information about the different types of road treatments used, interactive maps, tips on how to merge in traffic, and how to subscribe to the Daily Road Report.
No matter the time of year, all current road construction projects can be viewed on the Road Restrictions and Construction Projects Map. Construction work zones are clearly marked with orange signs and pylons. Please slow down, pay attention, and watch for workers.

Hampton Village Force Main Project
The City of Saskatoon is installing a sewer main that will run from the Hampton Village Business Park to the Spadina Crescent Lift Station.
For the most part, the work is trenchless, however there will be some road impacts. The most significant impact will be the closure of the southbound Warman Road curb lane that exits onto Circle Drive westbound. The closure starts April 29 and will remain closed for approximately two weeks. Drivers wanting to access Circle Drive westbound from Warman Road north are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Neault Road Reconstruction
To accommodate current and future growth, the City of Saskatoon has been working on the reconstruction of Neault Road, which includes transforming it into a four-lane road over the next four to six years. This construction season, the two southbound lanes will be constructed between 22nd Street West and 33rd Street West.
Beginning May 2, 2024, Neault Road was fully closed and it will remain closed for approximately two months, barring weather delays and unforeseen circumstances. Detour signage has been placed in advance of the work zone and detour updates will be included in the Daily Road Report.
